Have you done spybot/adaware to clean the spyware out?

Run ad-aware on daily basis. Also run spybot weekly. What I keep finding are registry entries. When I delete a game demo, I run RegCleaner to get rid of any of the game entries, and still find DAP leftovers.

OK well thats pretty weird. Have you also searched for files calle DAP or Download Accelerator? I am very carefull when I use registry cleaners because they always pick up my Internet Settings and sometimes manage to mess with my AIM Profile, which isnt even in the registry!

Yep. I've dumped every file and folder that had anything to do with DAP

When I run a reg cleaner, I check each entry before I delete it. Screwed up once, and caused me lots of problems. Won't make that mistake again!!

Some of the things I found include
1 Registry Key called DAP.EXE
1 Registry Folder (subkey?) called Download Accelerator.
FolderAP
FileAPBHO.DLL
