I'd be most grateful for your kind help and advise on how to get Adobe Flash working on my eMachine. I have to use this program to view online study material, but despite repeatedly downloading and running the software successfuly it does not work. Each time that the material is accessed the same request to install Flash player is received. The whole procedure of installation is done but again Flash dos not work.
Kindly help, if possible.

Make sure to download the proper version of the Adobe Flash Player.

Thanks for your kind continuous help. I downloaded the Flash Player 10.3 from the link you suggested earlier. I got confirmation that the program had successfully installed and Control Pannel shows "Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X". However I keep getting the message that I need to download and install the latest version of Flash Player when I try to access video content from the web.
Kindly help further if possible, please. Thanks again.

Click Tools > Manage add-ons.

Make sure Shockwave Flash Object is Enabled.

There's no 256-bit version of Internet Explorer. There's the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version. Flash doesn't work on the 64-bit version.

I was only quoting the "Cypher Strength" mentioned in the HELP menu on my browser. Thanks for informing me that Internet Explorer has to be uninstalled for Flash to work.
I dont know how to start the unistallation of this browser from Control Panel.
I just realised that there are two versions of Internet Explorer on the eMachine, one is a 64-bit Edition also showing 256-bit Cypher Strength. This program shows on the Start Menu and the All Programs' lists. However, Control Panel does not show any entries for Microsoft Internet Explorer. Please help if the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer has to be uninstalled to put things right for Flash Player.

No, it doesn't have to be uninstalled and actually can't be uninstalled. You have 2 versions. Click Start, and type Internet Explorer. Click the one that doesn't have "64-bit" in the name.

I tried the Flash Player on the non 64-bit edition. Yet again it did not work.
