Question Firewall or internet issue?
So my parents computer is having some issues. They need to update Adobe Flash because they can't watch youtube or do anything that requires flash. But when they try to download it, it doesn't work. They also tried downloading Chrome to use as a browser instead of internet explorer, but that won't download either.
They are using Panda Internet Security 2011. It's pretty clear at this point that it is blocking the downloads and blaming it on an internet connection problem. They have tried going into Panda and adding the ports and stuff for Adobe and Chrome to the accepted downloads list, but it didn't make any difference. Disabling the firewall doesn't do anything either. We tried completely turning off Panda and downloading Flash but we only get a message that says, "Please connect to the internet."
