Hello, I have recently uninstalled my graphics drivers successfully trying to fix an error with switch able graphics. I proceeded to download the correct driver for installation, the file opened to the AMD driver autodetect window. When clicking 'download now' I received an error HTTP 416. The driver will not download any further and I am unsure of which actions to take. Radeon 6770M graphics card.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Use the manual download by selecting your card from the drop down menus.
Download the driver to your desktop then run the program.

Once downloaded to desktop and I try run the application file, it says that my software/hardware is incompatible, 'the version of your graphics adapter is not supported. I just updated my graphics drivers under device manager, and I downloaded the correct file, and have also tried auto detect.

According to the data posted, you have Intel graphics, not AMD.

It didn't recognise the graphics card without the drivers so it's not in those specs.

Are you trying to use 2 graphics cards? If not, you need to disable the Intel graphics. If your other card does not appear in Device Manager, you will not be able to install its drivers.

I just disabled the Intel graphics, in device manager when I go under properties of the radeon graphics card i get this error message: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

There may be a setting in BIOS for disabling the onboard graphics.
