Solved: Firefox 13.0.1 won't play embedded videos
Firefox 13.0.1 won't play embedded videos.
I have tried various recommended solutions without any success.

First, please tell us what you've tried so we don't duplicate efforts needlessly.

Secondly, please advise what version of Flash you're running.

current flash version -11.3

I cleared my cache

I uninstalled 11.3 and tried to downgrade to 10.3 and 11.2

Do you have the Firefox plugin called "RealPlayer Download Plugin"? If so, try disabling it then restart Firefox and see if that solves the problem.

What had been done just prior? Software updates?

It started several days ago.

There may have been some automatic software updates.

Firefox was updated 10 days ago.

Flash was also updated recently, but I can't remember exactly when.
