Java folder empty in control panel i have Java 1.7 for both IE & non IE browsers installed and enabled. However, in control panel Java is represented by an empty folder. Clicking the folder returns a message that Java is not installed. However, java runs fine. I cannot access the Java console. I have uninstalled Java and reinstalled it but that does not resolve the issue. Is there a missing file or registry key? Thank you.
