MagicISO Issue
I am running Win98 in Virtual PC 2007 (under Win 7 64 bit).

I have made an ISO image of the CD "The Way Things Work" (Dorling Kindersley). This CD is about 15 years old.

When I go to mount it via MagicISO, it still insists that I load up the physical CD. I created the ISO image specifically to avoid this.

How do I get around this ?

Thanks,
Andrew F

Most copyrighted CD's have special encryption built into them so that they cannot be accurately duplicated or imaged. If you could do that, then another person could take the real CD and use it so that one of you got a free, unlicensed version of the program. One CD = one installation.
