I keep getting a security warning on IE 9. I only get it on one site. It's a game site. This just started after I updated my Java. I click on the box to not show this warning again, and it still pops up as I go through the site. It says Do you want to run this application? An application from the location below is requestiong permission to run. Click cancle to stop this app or run to allow it to continue. I just want to make this box stop popping up. Can anyone help?

That's because your website uses the Java plugin in IE9. With recent Java vulnerabilities, latest Java updates are setting Security Level to High. Whenever going to a site where Java is needed, you'll see a security warning.




Click the Java icon in the Control Panel and select the Security tab:




The latest version 7 update 13 has patched 50 vulnerabilities. It should be safe to click on Run.

I do click "run". But I just want the box to stop popping up. Is there anyway of stopping this?

Simply lower the bar until you don't get the warnings anymore:

What Phantom010 says will make the box go away, but be aware by doing so you increase the potential of invasion of your computer by others. The vulnerability of programs like Java is what prompted this happening.

Personally, I'm happy to do a simple click to run Java when I know why its being used.
