Accidentally Uninstalled USB Port Drivers; Help!
I'm not sure if this is the right category (I'm not very tech savvy), but I recently accidentally uninstalled my USB Port drivers from my computer. I have an ASUS Z87 Series motherboard and Windows 7 OS. I have been told a simple reboot would fix it, but I cannot get passed the log-in screen due to the password and I can't use my keyboard. Yes, I have tried re-plugging in the mouse and keyboard in different ports (I'm not that dumb). Any help with re-downloading those drivers or restoring my computer somehow will work!

I do have a PS/2 port, I have tried using a USB to PS/2 adapter with no success; will it make a difference using a straight up PS/2 mouse/keyboard?

The PS/2 interface is the only choice in order to divert the log-in problem at this point. Though not sure how you would accidentally remove the USB controllers...
