Solved: AOL Dialer Keeps Popping Up
Ok, I absolutely hate AOL... Always have, but this is for my boss. He has AOL and has a broadband connection. Everytime he opens Internet Explorer AOL always pops up the AOL Dialer. I believe he's on the newest version of AOL. Is there any way to stop AOL from popping up?

try this.

- click on start
- run
- and type in msconfig
- from here go to the services
- look for anything with AOL in the list can turn it off (the tick is off)
(if you of turning off anything important you can click on hide all microsoft sevices)
-next go to the startup tab
- again find all the names with AOL and turn them off.
-click ok
- restart your computer

I ended up deleting it from Internet Explorer in the connections. For some reason it wanted to dial-up even though it brought the web pages up fine.
