IE7 Installation Problem
IE7 will not install. It says that installation has failed and to restart and check thr troubleshooting guide. That guide lists various lines in the log file which do not exist in my log. My log, appended here, has various other errors. I have tried to install from Safe Mode and it haas failed. I have set up a new admin account and installed from there and it has failed. I'm out of ideas. I spent three hyours on the phone with MS and they are going to call me back next week but if anyone has any ideas...?

r u using xp? did u turn off any antispyware programs etc b4 downloading/installing? might do the trick... also might temporarily disable ur antivirus long enuff 2 complete the download... what firewall r u using? just some thoughts

Sorry should have said that too. I'm using XPO Home edition. I turned off MaCafee virus and firewall. I also use Spybot and tuend off all immunization features on that. So....? Any ideas to try?

Along similar lines, I recently installed IE7. It works fine until I get out of it and then I get that annoying error send/don't send message. I get this message each time I get out whether I go to one or a dozen sites. Any ideas?
