Unhappy Defrag & Outlook problems
Hi There
I am using Windows 2000 Professional and have experienced a problem with Outlook. It will not start up, it just hangs at the info section.
Have updated AVG virus protection and run a scan, this did not detect any viruses. Tried to run a Degrag, it ran well on the C drive, but will not complete a defrag on the D drive. (These discs are partitioned).
Started up in safe mode and tried to degrag and starting outlook again but still both would not work.
Ran a spybot search and destroy with new updates. No problems there.
Word, Excel seem to open up fine. Outlook express opens up fine.
I have spoken to the users of this pc and they said the only thing that happend was when they came back to their PC when a phone call was being transfered that the screen went all funny and hung. Rebooted PC then realised could not get in to Outlook etc as above.
Could you please advise if there are any other suggestions.

Edit your thread title to include: "HJT Log".

HJT Log / Outlook & Defrag problems
Thanks for the reply.
I have gone in to edit the thread title but cannot do this. Should I repost this problem with that in the title?

In saying that I have just done an advance edit to my log so hopefully this will work.

Thanks
Frances
