Removing Softex Omnipass
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought a Packard computer( 2 months old xp) with Softtex Omnipass Pre installed.
Its some kind of encription software that has no use to me what-so-ever!
I used regedit4 to find where it was located within my registry and removed all instances. Silly me! The end result was NTLDR message which left my machine completely unbootable.I have had to use Recovery -Thus losing everything in order to get the machine to run again.
Its now turned into a person mission of mine to remove this c**p that I dont need or want.
Help!!

i did some checking on this as ive never heard of it but all references to it make it sound like its some kind of virus or spyware. try going to the security forum and maybe someone who has experience with this can advise you. hope this helps.
