Windows Management Instrumentation WMI
When I try and gather System information in Help and Support I get the following message in a new window.

Can’t Collect Information
Cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software. Windows Management
files may be moved or missing.

Can anyone suggest how to rectify this?

Thanks very much.

As a first step open the "Run" dialog from the start menu and type in " services.msc " without the quote marks. Scroll down to Windows Management Instrumentation," and right click it. In the dialog that appears, use the drop-down menu box in the center to select Automatic, and then use the button to the left to "Start the Service." Apply. OK. Please post back to let us know what you found and if this corrects the situation.
