You shouldn't need one, have you tried plugging it in? It should appear as a removal drive.

Triple6 is right! here's an added info...

Driver information for Microsoft® Windows Vista® and Windows® XP

* The drivers needed to connect most Sony® cameras and camcorders to a computer are already included in the Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems. With these drivers, you should be able to connect and transfer files to a computer.

Note: If the your camera or camcorder is not recognized by the computer when connected, you may need an updated driver.
* Detailed Windows Vista compatibility information is available for Sony Cameras and Camcorders.
* Starter and 64-bit versions of the Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems are not supported.

The drivers are supposedly included with Vista. I have Vista Business and they are not. I called Sony and told them and they told me I needed to upgrade to a camera that was Vista compatible. The DCR-TRV33 is not and never would be Vista compatible. I installed the software that came with the camera on XP and have yet to get it to work.

I am still looking for a work around but I don't have much hope.
