Help With WMP Please...
I need help and have tried all I know to try. I have also googled with no luck.

Recently I updated my WMP 10 to WPM 11. Every since then all my icons have changed. I tried to change them but they just won't. I can live with that, I don't like it, but I can live with it. However...I just tried to open a rar file with UnzipThenAll..The thing is, when I went to do it the rar d/led as a MPEG... I have no idea what has happened.
Does anyone think they can help me? I am really fairly new to computers and use google a lot to figure things out, but this time, forget it.
thanx...alice

I hope I posted this in the right spot.

You need to change your computer settings to show file extensions, then change the extension back if it did in fact change. To do this, follow this tutorial. Now you should be able to see the extension of every file. Check if the extension of the file your trying to open is mpg or rar, and if it is mpg then just change it to rar. If it is rar, then follow this tutorial to change the default program that it opens with back to UnzipThemAll.

You could also just download WinRAR, which would automatically set most archive file types (including rar) to open with it.
