Solved: Need Help rolling back Windows Media Player 11 to 10 in Vista
Hi,

I'm having trouble getting our MP3 player (Creative Zen Touch) to work on Vista. It's finally being recognised as a device, but Windows Media Player 11 does not recognise it so I can't add any music to it - which kinda defeats the object!

I think I need to rollback to Windows Media Player 10, which apparently will recognise it, but I realise after a bit of mind boggling research that this is easier said than done. Can anybody help me with this problem? Is there an easy way to do it?

Many thanks for reading my plight!

The only version of WMP that you can use with Vista is 11. If you had Windows XP you could use versions 9, 10 or 11, but with Vista you're stuck with 11.

You might want to give MediaMonkey a try, it works well with many Mp3 players.

Thanks so much everyone for your help. Media Monkey was the answer - it's working brilliantly.

Thanks again!
