Solved: Cannot Install Adobe Reader 9.0
Hello,

I am getting the following error message when attemting to install Adobe Reader 9.0:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the instillation package 'AdbeRdr811_en_US.msi' in the box below.

Drop down box has the following paths listed:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Updater5\Install\reader8rdr-en_US\

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Setup Files\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-A81100000003}\

and

When I try to uninstall Adobe 8.1.1 I get the followin error message:

this is the site i used a few weeks ago with no problems.

Thanks for the link. I tried it but I still got the same error message. Any other suggestions?

Try this:

Then uninstall 8.0 and then install 9.0

Better still, check out Foxit Reader as a replacement for Adobe; http://www.filehippo.com/download_foxit/
