Solved: Burning Software.....FREE....
What is the best software, free, that will burn a DVD+R? Nero says it can't so any other programs out there that people could recommend?

I don't have any problems burning them with nero.

I have no problems burning DVD+R with Nero. Burning a certain format is dependent on the drive itself. Not necessarily the software. Yeah the software has to be able to do it but the hardware has to support it.

So you can burn a data disk to a DVD+R with no problems? What version on Nero are you using?

Hi manomina.
I also use Nero and have no problems with DVD+R or DVD+Rrewritables.
I've been using version 6

Just a note, I've heard Nero version 6 doesn't play well with Vista.
I'm using XP and win2k currently.

Yeah,for vista you need the updated version 7 of nero or 8.

Thanks, I think Vista sucks, but that's just me, XP rules....just like NT ruled :-)

I found a Roxio cd and I installed it and it burns fast. So I b good.
