Create slideshow from MPG?
I'm trying to make a slideshow that I can watch on my TV.

A friend sent me a 60mb file (the file extension is .mpg) and says that if I put it onto a disc, it'll play on most DVD players.

I did that and it plays on my computer OK, but I can't make it work on my lounge TV\DVD system.

Can anyone tell me how to make this file playable on anyone's DVD player?

Much thanks :-)

Is it the 60mb mpg file you received that already plays as if it is a slideshow? If so it should be no problem for almost any DVD-authoring software to do.

If you need a good free one, its www.dvdflick.net. You can add a menu if you want or just have it startup and loop continuously (or not) so go through all the settings to stylize it to taste if you use it.

Thanks fairnooks. Yes, the file plays a slideshow on my computer. It opens with Windows Media Player.

But what I want to do is play it through my TV, from my lounge DVD player.

I'll take a look at your link, thanks for the tip.
