When i try to download adobe flash player using firefox i click save file, it then says:
"one download active (few seconds remaining)"
"one download active (unknown time remaining)"
then a little box above that comes up and says "download complete"

I click tools>downloads and its empty! i dont know where it is! can anyone help me?

Now did you download the flash or download the flash plug doing a online install because it is not very big so it would download and install really fast.
But below is the standalone installer.

Go here to get the flash.

Flash Player 9.0.124.0 (Complete Standalone Installer) for Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape

If you have any AntiVirus software installed, Firefox V3 will invoke it and scan the download before releasing it to you.

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36(IE)

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36(Non-IE)

for Internet Explorer and Firefox are the newest versions and can be downloaded from:

http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/

http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_firefox/

Uninstall the old version before installing the new version.

Use Internet Explorer to download them both.

On Tools/Options/Main where did you tell Firefox to save downloads and what is in that location?

Thanks flavallee on the updated versions. I posted before seeing that there was a update and the site I linked has not yet updated the flash files.

concon93:

I'm glad to hear that you got them downloaded and install with IE.

----------------------------------------------------------------

I just started using Mozilla Firefox 3.0.3 about a week ago for a specific reason, so I still know very little about it. I'm still a die-hard Internet Explorer user.

If you go into Tools - Options - Main, you can configure how you want the download feature to work and where you want your downloads to be saved.

hewee:

The new version was just released yesterday.
