Can I replace Adobe Flash Player???
I am tired of the problems with trying to update Adobe Flash player. Each time I have to do it, I have problems. I have tried to uninstall the old version which worked the last time, but not this time.

Is there any other software that can replace this program and will still make files requiring Adobe Flash Player viewable?

Thanks for any help

Nope, don't think so, but it might work better in one browser versus another maybe. 10 is supposed to fix some of the imcompatibility problems in 9 but who knows.

The latest version (10,0,12,36) was a security upgrade (maybe something to do with an exploit that could allow a third party to operate webcams and microphones?) so, if you don't have it, get it now.

You will need to uninstall older versions with the Adobe uninstaller and then get the latest IE (and non IE plugins if you use Firefox, Opera etc.). Relevant links as follows;

Uninstaller http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...4157&sliceId=1 (read the instructions)

IE plugin http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...x/English.html (IE users may need to be online for the install to complete - read the instructions)

Firefox, Opera etc http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash
