Unhappy Cannot install directX 9
I am currently on vacation in South America, and while here my trusty old Dell laptop failed, so i decided to go and buy a new one. I ended up with a Sony Vaio (VGN-NR330FE).
The problem however was that, alltho it is a decent laptop running Vista Home Premium and DirectX 10 with no problem, I cannot find any way to install DirectX 9.
As i understand it, DirectX 10 is not backwards compatible, and for an online game that I have been playing for the last 8 years now, called Tibia, I need to have DirectX 9 installed in order for it to run smoothly.
So, i hope there is a way to get DirectX 9 installed on this thing.

If you need further information about my system, let me know.

Thank you

P.s. I am not interrested in people flaming me about how crappy my favourite game is, but it seems this forum is professional enough, that this wont happen.

DirectX 10 supports directX 9 games, otherwise 90% of the current games or applications would be incompatible with Vista!
Som there is no point trying the install DirectX 9 anyway. Just install the game or games and they should run ok.
My oldest game is Max Payne (2000) and works ok on Vista...
