uninstall printer drivers
I just bought a kodak esp 7 printer. The printer sees my wireless network, and my computer sees the printer. BUT the printer drivers won't install. I spent two hours on the phone with kodak last night and they tell me that i probably need to uninstall my HP 810c printer drivers. Does anyone know how to do that manually? I can't find the disk and don't really know if there is an uninstall on it anyway.
Windows xp sp3

My personal opponion is that they should make better software for their priinter. I build computers and do IT work and have never spent this much time just trying to install print drivers before.

Thanks

Cosmo

Go to printers, File, Server Properties, Drivers tab. Delete them from here.

Just out of curiousity, what error do you get when the printer driver install fails?

I was getting an error that said it couldn't remove the printer. So I am assuming (dangerous I know) that it was trying to remove my old printer drivers.
The frustration factor took over and I returned the Kodak Printer and went back to HP. I had all three of my computers setup and running wireless in less than an hour with no grief.
Thanks for the reply though, I always wondered where to remove drivers without going on a search and destroy through the registry.

Printer software/drivers can be uninstalled in Add/Remove programs list also.
Programs and Features in Vista.

Have you tried a system restore to point prior to the drivers being installed?
