Startup Freeze

When I start up my computer, after it has run my Anti-Virus and a few other programs, my computer stops. It does nothing. I can't click on any icons, but I can move my mouse (This also happends when I leave my computer alone for an hour, or so). I have to try really fast to open my task manager, and disable Core.exe, Steam.exe, and 1 other program. That seems to work. But It still takes alot to try and get it to work. I have no idea what to do...
I am currently running XP, and my anti-virus is McAfee, if it helps...

Seems like your pc is infected with virus/spyware. It would be better if you post the topic in security forum. The experts there will help you out.
