Helpppp!!

ok, so I have itunes and quicktime on my computer. I go to open itunes, and it says some of my quicktime software is out of date and you can fix this problem by updating to the latest version. I have re installed itunes and quicktime numerous times and I am positive they are both the newest versions out and it still continues to say the same thing.. andd the error pops up saying itunes as encountered an error send the report or dont I really dont know what to do.. help?
