Slow opening Microsoft office 2007 Home and Student
Hi I hope someone can help please

About 3 weeks ago i started having problems with my PC going very slow i thought perhaps i had got a Trojan and formated C Drive. This never worked and i formated a second time but still have a slow PC.

I am using Vista Home Premium and Office Home & Student 2007 but most programs are affected I use IE7 and this is also as with Office non responsive.

I have downloaded Hijack if you require a file to study i also wander if maybe Bios or drivers may be not working as well as possible as when i bought my Abit board Dec 07 although it was meant to be Vista ready the bios needed to be updated before vista would load (I have a duo quad core q6600) i did this using XP and U guru but when i then got Vista on U guru wont work so i am stuck checking the other drivers. Graphics drivers etc are up to date. I did download a driver checker which said several drivers are out of date but a) you had to pay to get it to search replacements B) as the program claimed my Graphics drivers are out of date and the official web site says i am current same with an Epson printer it made me qstn the value of paying to try it.

Any other info you want please ask.
So running Vista 32 bit
Office home 2007
Roxio ( i mention because it seems to be a big program )
2 GB ram
Quad q6600 CPU

Thanks

Allan
