DVD Driver Disappeared
My computer does not admit to there being any drive other than C or D. I tried uninstalling the DVD driver in hopes it would reinstall when I rebooted, but no luck. Any suggestions?

I'm using a Gateway MT3705 laptop with Vista.

Thanm you for any suggestions.

The DVD drive has either failed or it has become disconnected from the motherboard. Try taking it out of the laptop and reinstalling it securely.
