Need to find a free program to make invitations
I need to make 75 birthday invitations. Does anybody know of a simple free program that will do this. I've tried a couple I found on Google but eventually they want money to get them printed. They say free but they're not.

I need something that's straight forward, not something like Photoshop that has a steep learning curve. This will be a one time project.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Open Office is free. They have templates for that just like they do for Microsoft Word.

I use Serif PagePlus- and they have a free version that comes with 500 templates-- specifically including invitations.

I have used the commercial version over the years- but have friends who just love the free version for everything they need.

Thanks for all the help. My wife found a scrap booking CD that we can use. This is a much bigger project than I anticipated. Fortunately, we only have to make one. Thanks again.

When I got married 10 years ago my wife and I just made our invitations using WordPerfect. 200 invitations plus envelopes on an old HP 600c inkjet printer
