Ever since my husband got Mozilla Firefox on our computer we have not been able to open any pdf files using Adobe.

I have downloaded it numerous times and nothing happens.
I am very frustrated. How can I remedy this problem?

We have Windows XP
Version 2002
Service pack 3

In Firefox, go to Tools > Options > Applications and you will see a list of file types and the default actions - scroll down to pdf and set the association accordingly.

If still no luck, try this Firefox add-on.

You should try Foxit Reader instead of Adobe. It's a lot smaller and faster.
