Can't seem to download Windows Live Messenger
Both firefox and ie can't seem to connect to g.live.com when I try to download WLM or if I click to ask for help... When my friends send me to file to download, I get an Error: OnCatalogResult: 0x8104000b and Next Steps: You cannot download Windows Live Programs unless you're connected to the internet.

But I am connected to the internet.. I really need help. Thanks much if you can!

I had the same problem and now kicking myself I did not keep the link I had to go to another source other than the main Windows live link, but I have found what looks like another one where it down loads the set up, as the main site would not let me down load the messenger at all to start with then after a couple of attempts it looks like it is down loading but when installation is finished.

Hello no icon, no program folder it’s not listed in add/remove where is it? So you go to down load it again thinking there must be a hick up, and as it’s supposedly installing its saying it’s already on your computer but for the life of you, you can not find it. (I had the windows messenger UN ticked in add/remove windows components so I know it was not that one it was referring to)

Anyway hope this works
