Windows Batch Files will not work
Whenever I try to open a Windows Batch File, it always pops up for a fraction of a second and then closes really quickly. It has been doing this for months. It sometimes works to convert the batch file to a .exe file, but sometimes does not. I am using Windows XP x64, so that may be the problem. If anyone knows a way to fix this, it would be appreciated.

If you are double clicking on a batch file to run it, it will close the prompt as soon as it finishes unless it includes a pause statement, or asks the user for input.
If it has an error it will also close immediately.
Instead of double clicking, open a command prompt window first, navigate to the folder the batch file is in, then run the file by typing it's name. That way you can see any error messages.
