Finger Print reader not working

I have bought Acer Aspire 5738 which has finger print reader option.
I have installed the drivers given in the CD but still I am not able to get the finger print reader activated.
When I am clicking on the fingerprint icon,it does nt do anything.

Please suggest me for the same.
