I was thing of using TweakNow Reg Cleaner but would like to know if you thing it is risky. It has good reviews on Download.com but would like to have a more professional opinion.

Common thought here is that Registry Cleaners are risky.
My own experience with them in the past was very negative.

Do not use any registry cleaner, optimizer, booster - no matter what it claims it can do.

They will do nothing to improve speed or performance.

What they can do is broke some of your programs and trash the operating system.

However, I believe there is agreement that a Registry defragmenter is helpful. I use the one from Auslogics.
