Vista-Bluetooth Mouse HID DATA HAS STOPPED WORKING
I have the same problem as an old thread to which I couldn't find a reply. I have the same mouse and the same laptop and system:

HP Pavilion dv4 series Laptop, Vista Home Premium, 64 bit. While installing MS Wireless Presenter Mouse 8000, Laser I encountered a window saying "HID DATA has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly". First the message came up every time I turned on the computer and the mouse still worked, but now the mouse does not work at all. I've tried all of the suggestions from HP help and support including installing updated drivers, but my laptop is brand new so this doesn't seem to be the problem.

Any more suggestions?

Thanks,

Naomi
