MSN Error
On my laptop I could sign into MSN perfectly and chat whenever, all was good. But now my laptop is broken and I went to try and sign into MSN via my computer. I couldn't login even though I was 100% sure my credentials were correct and got an error of: "Error code: 80048820". I even tried signing ito an older MSN account and also re-installing MSN, no luck. I do have the latest version of MSN. Anybody know what the problem is? Also my e-mail is a non-hotmail but it has been setup to work with MSN, it worked on my laptop so I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Hi,

We really need to know what program exactly and what version you are having problems with....(I did read your post that you have the latest version but I would like you to post what it is exactly, please)

take a look here http://help.live.com/help.aspx?proje...m&market=en-us

Under> 'Choose your version of Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger
There are several versions of Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger available. To help ensure that you get Help and support for the right version:'

Then, open your MSN program and compare and post which one you have.... Usually, up at the top under tabs find "HELP" tab, then find
the "ABOUT" item and click on that, it should show you the version....

Then, take a look at this> http://help.live.com/help.aspx?proje...2&market=en-us

See if that helps....
