Microsoft .Net Framework - unhandled exception
I know my computer has viruses, so I wanted to down load a virus program. However, since the above message comes up, I can't seem to download anything because the system says I have to cancel that download. However, nothing I do cancels it. Somehow I can't even get to the task manager (cntrl alt delete or right clicking on task bar) to cancel it. That is also a problem - I assume it has to do with the virus that got on my system. Help.

ms1027--Not sure if you have a .NET Microsoft installer issue or a more general problem. Microsoft has some .NET solutions at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908077 The first of the 3 repair solutions worked to restore all three versions of .Net Framework installed on my computer(XP/3) although it mentions only v.2.0.
