Transfer of info between databases
Need to transfer records (names and addresses) from a LabelWriter database to Excel spreadsheet. Can anybody suggest a simple way of doing this without re-typing all the records.

Thanks
Peter

I dont know LabelWriter database - but does it have an option to export data
say as something like a CSV comma seperated value (comma delimited file) ?
Or any delimited file type ....

Thanks for quick response! Yes, have discovered that labelwriter database can export as tab delimited or return delimited. There is another issue: labelwriter is a Mac program, and we want to end up with a windows excel file (.xls).

Regards

Then if you export as TAB or Return delimited, which will just be a text file - You should be able to copy the file from the MAC
Open in Excel and then save in XLS format from excel
