Solved: acronis-will not let me set pre/post to default setting
I was all ready to run my first acronis image to my external drive. When I went to set up backup options I ran into a problem.

On Pre/Post it was set to "custom commands". So I clicked on "use command keys set by default". But it just won't let me switch from custom to default. I thought I might just run the backup up anyway but was afraid I would create a mess without the default set to on.

I tried Acronis site but couldn't find anything helpful. And they want $10 more of my money for me to have access to one of there techs.

So I'm turning to techguy for help. Have any of you Acronis users out there run into this problem, and what did you do to solve it?

I have Acronis 10.0 with most recent updates as of today 11/3/09.
Any help would be appreciated.

no need to set pre/post commands
With some more research I found an answer to my own question. I'm writing it down for anyone in the future with the same question.

The pre/post backup option is not needed to image your pc.

Just leave the command options blank on that option. This option is for techies who know what this option is for and wouldn't be asking this question in the first place.
