Web Camera not working
Hi - I have a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX - have had it a while and its always worked. Now whilst I can see myself if I open the cam for myself, but if I chat to someone on Windows Live Messenger - there is a red cross, and the picture doesnt appear. Im using Windows XP Home Edition.

Strangely enough my other laptop which has Vista and a built in Cam (and has worked) - also doesnt work on Windows Live Messenger.

Have you any clues?

Judy

Yes, many times, but the "show your webcam" is not highlighted. It must be connected, b ecause I can see myself - its only when I want to show someone else, I get the red cross. They say they can see me, but I cant see me lol
