Unhappy ahhhhhhhhh cine player problems
Hi

several weeks ago when trying to use cineplayer on my dell dimension e520, runs with xp, got a message that needed to put a sonic update manager disc in. After seraching on the internet, found out that you shouls delete this programe as dell do not give you this disc. After deleting this, when i started up cineplayer i get a similar message about sonic activation module. Again i serach the internet and it is recommended that i delete anything that says sonic activation module using windows clean up utility, which i do. Happily, i start cineplayer again, all goes well, no strange sonic message, i put in a disc, it recognises the film disc. I press play and nothing happens. I reinstall cineplayer but to no avail, i am so sick of this. Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on? Have tried to use windows mediaplayer to play the films but there is something wrong with the sound, the background noise is very loud, the main characters you can hardly hear at all. I just using a windup radio now, ive had enough.

Delete cineplayer and try VLC player; it's free and plays virtually all media formats with no additional codecs.

Slainte

Midders, that media player is great, thank you so much, plays much better than cineplayer and no region problems. Stress has left the building.

cheers
