Exclamation AVG Installation Error
Had windows vista with AVG 8.5 installed. Then uprgraded to Windows 7 which then prompted to uninstall AVG. In this process I had decided to upgrade to AVG internet security 9.0. However, in the process of installation, I keep recieving an error message:

Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avgwdsvc.exe: starting service....
Access is denied.
Rollback:
Warning: Action failed for file avgfwfd6.inf: file registration rollback....
AVG Firewall NDIS driver uninstallation failed.
Error 0x2: SetupUninstallOEMInfW for fw driver failed. - Possible cause: The system cannot find the file specified.

How do I fix this?

Try removing AVG completely with the AVG Remover then reinstall AVG.

i have already tried that. i have tried everything. i believe that in the process of upgrading operating systems, a file was left behind, or deleted when it wasnt supposed to be deleted. not sure. but it says access denied...not quite sure how that is seeing as i'm the admin.

Locate avgwdsvc.exe as I'm guessing it's the AVG installer executable file. Right-click on it and select Properties. Under the General tab, click on the Unblock button.
