Uninstall Earthlink from IBM Thinkpad without OEM CD

I am trying to remove Earthlink from my friends laptop without the OEM CD because it tries to install it every time she tries to go on the internet. It will not allow me to uninstall it from Add/Remove Control Panel without the CD. Help!
