Smile Friends problem
She has new addon HDD with Win 7 and can't locate her Outlook 2003 contacts or calendar. Paid tech support would only relate to look for outlook.pst or outlook1.pst. No info on converting old outlook to new outlook. Please help.

What is an "addon HDD"? Was a completely new hard drive physically installed in the computer? What happened to the old one? Or was the previous operating system upgraded to Windows 7? If so, was it an upgrade in place or a clean install?

Was your friend using Microsoft Outlook? Or Microsoft Outlook Express? Two very different programs with different files. Did she back up all her data, including e-mail files, before the technician did any work?

Friends problem
Missy had a tech install a new hard drive because her c: drive was full. The tech installed the new drive (f (retained the old one) and loaded win 7 on f:. As far as I know she did not backup the email because she thought she had a virus and was bringing it in for virus removal. Only know that the previous operating system was upgraded to Windows. Don't know if it was an upgrade in place or a clean install (suspect an upgrade in place) but I can find out. She was using Outlook 2003 with 2007 know on fwhere computer boots to).
Only found out today that the missing files should be locatable on outlook.pst. If this is correct how do I convert/load the 2003 files onto 2007?
Appreciate your help.
Thanks, Rich (Missy's friend)
