DVD Drive Locks (IMGBurn?)
Hi,

What ive noticed is sometimes after burning a dual layer disc in IMGBurn my DVD drive locks up, if I press EJECT it doesnt pop out, I need to go to My Computer and right click drive an eject.

Ive tested the drive in BIOS and it works fine and like I say it only does it sometimes.

Is there any settings on the computer (Win 7) or in IMGBurn that I can change so it doesnt "lock" the drive?

Thanks,

-R

What DL media are you using? The apparent lockup is most likely caused by a problem in finalising the disk which is common with cheap media. At CDFreaks the only DL media that is recommended is Verbatim.

There is an option in ImgBurn under Tools->Settings..., Write tab to "Lock volume - exclusive access"; you could try disabling this.
