Any security software when browsing on another computer..?
Hello Members, hope you can help.

During a google search for some form of Security software to protect me when i'm using IE, or Chrome, i came accross ZoneAlarms Forcefield.

What this software does is create a virtual copy of your browser, but make's this browser even more secure when your doing your banking and such like.

The type of net security software or net 'service' i'm looking for though, is when i'm on say a 'works' office computer, or a friends pc, having this same sort of protection, it would have to be made or offered by a reputable security provider.

Do any members know of such a service, or software, or even a clever way i can protect myself when on someone else's computer?

Any help would be grateful

kind regards
Livio

Check out Sandboxie........

http://www.sandboxie.com/

Nothing is perfect in regards to total security, but this approach seems a positive step in that direction.
I use it.

you can run firefox in private browsing mode. But if someone has a keylogger installed on that computer nothing is going to protect you.

Hi,
Am I right in thinking you want to use other machines (not your own) and not leave personal info behind?
if so, you could run a suite of free & legal portable progs from a USB stick (flash drive). Here's a link to a good range:

http://portableapps.com/

Hope I'm on the right lines?!

Just had a look at Sandboxie, it's not quite what i'm looking for, and i have seen the Portable apps website.

It's that i was hoping not to have to carry around USB flash dongle, but be able just to login straight onto a secure service, form any IE or browser on any computer.

It seems at the moment something like this isn't around.

kind regards
