I have a laptop with Vista basic and Open Office. Is there any way that I can use my laptop to flash up a reminder for things I have to do regularly on a certain day of the month? Allan.

Thank you for this. I have downloaded, but on first sight it does seem complicated for my needs. However, I will have another look. Allan

Thank you for the link. Is it possible with x-reminder to have a visual only alarm? I do not fancy Westminster chimes. Allan
