Solved: Using SkyDrive Explorer for online backup
I have opened an account with SkyDrive online backup service and backed up one file using Firefox as a trial, so far so good. I then installed Skydrive Explorer as an extension to Windows Explorer. Supposed to be simple and easy to drag and drop files and folders which will upload to SkyDrive. However I suppose it's so simple I cannot see how to do it, the help facility does not help so can somebody enlighten me please?

Open Sky Drive Explorer (You may have to sign in). Create an appropriate folder if necessary.
Open a folder containing docs you want to upload.
Drag the docs to your Sky Drive Folder.
It doesn't seem to support uploading whole folders.
I like Sky Drive, and appreciate it a lot after a recent crash.

Many thanks. There was a problem that the folder I had created in the 'cloud' took half an hour to appear on SkyDrive Explorer, but it seems to be working now. I had been led to believe that I would be able to upload folders and that is disappointing. However this is a very good product and I hope in time they will include this facility.
