Question Solved: Belarc Adviser and Printing
I just installed a new monitor and wanted to update my Belarc Adviser. I am able to look at the new Belarc listing on screen, but when I try to print it, I get a message saying "no printer selected." There are two options in the printing window, which are "Add Printer" and "Find Printer." Neither one works. I contacted Belarc who tell me that I should print from my browser. I have no idea what they are talking about, but they also suggested going to Tech Support Guy . . . so here I am.

Welcome to TSG.
Did your printer work before? Can you print anything from another program like Notepad?
I would re-install the printer driver, if it got lost during update.

I don't think my printers (2) are the problem. I can print from any of my programs, just the Belarc Adviser results won't print. Here's what Belarc Tech support told me: "Printing is from your browser, so it's best if you resolve printing from your browser separately from the Belarc Adviser."

I don't know what they are talking about since I have no problem printing pages from other websites.

In your browser, are you clicking the print button, or going to File then print? Years ago I worked with a bunch of computers that the print button in the browser's tool bar wouldn't work. They wouldn't print anything from the internet unless you went to File then print

Belarc Adviser and Printing
Thanks for your help, DerekC. I just brought up Belarc Adviser again, and although it opens in a browser window, there is no "file" option. Nevertheless, just for the heck of it, I pressed the print icon again and, lo and behold, it printed. So, I don't know why or how, but the problem is solved for the present. Thanks again.
