Solved: Possibly a stupid question
Should i keep the set up file's for software ,iv never deleted them but im just wondering if i should keep these files for good keeping in case of problems. Iv never had issues with my software yet but if i get a virus or delete something i need to run a specific software ,will i need the setup file to repair it.

I would like to know how i can make back ups

If someone can give my some links on how to keep my software rock solid and unchanged that would be great because i would really like to know.

I usually keep my installers. You never know when you might need to install again.

It depends on the program. Some of them indeed do.

Software im worried about is none internet related i don't know if this would make a difference ,music creation software and so forth.

I don't care if the software isn't up to date to the latest standards i just want them to run correctly.

The software im talking about is already on my desktop PC that's not a internet computer for safety reasons.

Some programs will only use the Internet to get some updates. If not connected to the Internet, they should install anyway.
